Standing alongside migrants and refugees at mass lobby of MPs

đŸ’„ We were proud to stand alongside hundreds of people in Westminster on 11 March for the mass lobby of MPs for migrant rights. With migrants, charities and campaigners from across the country, we said NO to the government’s “earned settlement” plans. 

What’s wrong with these plans? 

❌They will cause uncertainty and hardship for thousands of families, including 300,000 children  
❌ They will penalise the most vulnerable, such as ‘low-skilled’ workers and refugees   
❌ They will change the goal posts for people already here, transforming a 5 or 10 year route to settlement into 20 or 30 years for some. 

❌They will fuel divisiveness in communities and harm integration 

There has never been a more important moment to stand with migrants and refugees 🧡
